Eureka Springs, AR is a small town in the Ozark mountains, minutes away from the boarder of Missouri. Our family friend, Sandy and her little dog, Daisy, live there. She showed us her community and we got to help with serving meals at a clinic those in need. We also got to ride along with her as she delivered, “Meals on Wheels”.
After staying a night at her house we landed in a state park called Devils Den State Park, near West Fork, AR. When we arrived the park was closed but the Ranger told to pick any spot that was open. We enjoyed our first night and decided to stay another. We went into town for supplies and returned to enjoy a nature walk along the river and some down time.
We left Devils Den and headed East. We arrived at Chicot State Park in the dark and there were no other campers. When we woke, we found a beautiful view from our lakeside campsite.
