We didn’t do much in Mississippi but go to a little town called Ocean Springs. We looked at the before and after pictures of what hurricane Katrina did to it and they have recovered very well. That’s about all we did in Mississippi. 

When we got to Alabama we drove until we got to Orange Beach. We checked into a state park that Sawyer stayed at that was right on the beach. We went to the beach for about an hour and then we settled in for the night. 

The next day we got up and went straight to the beach. We were there almost all day! We did a lot of things at the beach like playing with sand, having fun in the cold water, walking down to the pier, and getting sunburned. 

 After the beach, we went into town and got some supplies. When we got back to the campground, we rented bikes and rode around the campground. 
 

After that, I was crazy enough to jump into the freezing cold pool! 
The next day we got up and went on a long bike ride. 

 The state park that we were at had really nice bike trails, but we didn’t get to do that many because we were ready to hit the road. After our bike ride, we headed east.
